From an idea to live on the App Store.

Tuned Tech is a custom mobile app development agency. We design, build and launch iOS and Android apps for founders and businesses, from the first call to the day it goes live.

What a native app does that a website cannot.

Closer than email, faster than the web

An icon on the home screen and a notification that arrives without being asked for. No tab, no inbox, no algorithm in between.

An iPhone lock screen with a notification banner arriving over it.

Built for the second visit

Streaks, saved history and progress give people a reason to come back. Retention is a feature you design in, not a campaign you run later.

Operations, not just marketing

The useful apps replace a process. Scheduling, intake, dispatch, logging. Work that was happening on paper or in a group chat.

A permanent place on the device

A website is somewhere people go. An app is something they have. That icon sits next to the ones they already use every day.

What we build.

The category matters less than the problem underneath it, but if you are wondering whether your idea is the sort of thing we take on, it probably is.

App design and development

You see it before we build it

Screens and flows get designed and approved first, so you know exactly what you are paying for. The data model and the logic underneath answer to the same thing: how the work actually gets done.

You see and approve the interface before development starts, so there is no reveal at the end.

Launch and the App Store

Submitted, reviewed and live, handled by us

Getting live is its own job. We build the listing, produce the screenshots, write the description and set the keywords, then handle submission, review and the response if Apple pushes back. If the app needs a site of its own, we build that too.

Three apps through that process so far, with a 4.8 average across 168 ratings. We also do this for builds we did not write.

Handover

Handed over properly, not just handed over

You get the source, the developer and store accounts in your name, and a walkthrough of how the pieces fit together. Nothing is held back and nothing keeps working only because we are still involved.

If you want us to keep shipping updates afterwards, we are here for that. If you would rather take it in-house or somewhere else, you already have everything you need to.

Most apps die somewhere between the idea and the App Store.

Usually it stalls. A quote comes back from someone cheap, the build drags, and the thing quietly stops being discussed. We exist to close that gap: scope it properly, build it, and get it in front of real users.

The hard part is never the screens

Pure Scan reads a barcode, then grades an ingredient list against a rulebook and returns a verdict fast enough to be useful while you are standing in the aisle. None of that is visible in a screenshot, and it is the first thing a cheap quote quietly leaves out.

That is the work: the logic underneath the interface, shaped around a specific job. The screens are the easy half.

Pure Scan result screen grading a product 100 out of 100, with a quick overview of additives, seed oils and processing.
01

Scoped before anything is built

You get what version one is, what it costs and when it lands before any code exists. No open-ended hourly, no discovering the budget halfway through.

02

Designed, not just coded

A cheap build gets you something that technically works. Design is the difference between an app people open twice and one they keep.

03

Yours to keep

You own the source, the accounts and the listing. Nothing here is held over you to keep you paying, and nothing needs rebuilding if you move on.

LOCKD

Blocks distracting apps against a goal you set, then tracks the daily non-negotiables underneath it. The streak measures the habit, not the app.

iOS · Health

Pure Scan

Scans a barcode or package and grades what is actually in it, with a running history and a catalog of everything graded.

Cofounded, then designed and built in-house.

PepTrack

Schedules doses and reminders across a protocol, and models what is still active in the system. The next dose becomes a decision, not a guess.

01

We work out what version one is

We work out what the app needs to do, what it does not, and what version one should be. You get cost and timeline before anything is built.

02

You see it before anything gets built

Screens and flows designed against real use. You approve the interface before development starts.

03

Working builds on your device throughout

Development in visible increments, with working builds on your own device throughout. Nothing is a surprise at the end.

04

We get it through review and onto the store

We handle App Store and Google Play submission, including review, then hand over the accounts and the code so the app is genuinely yours.

This is one of the best or I should say the Best Food scanner there is, if you want to know what's in your food you need this app.

Nice simple UI. I'm testing this for tracking my own schedules, so far it's been easy to add new items and schedules, seems to do exactly what it's supposed to do.

I really enjoyed using this app and how it combines app-blocking with a to-do list in one place. The design is clean and pleasant, the colors are nice.

I've used a few peptide calculators and apps before that were mostly clunky and confusing, but after using PepTrack it made things more easy and simple. Would recommend.

The things people ask first.

How long does a build take?

It depends on scope, and we will not pretend otherwise. You get a firm timeline during scoping, before any code is written, plus working builds on your own device throughout so you can see where it stands. More on what actually sets the timeline.

What does it cost?

Every project is quoted after scoping. There is no rate card, because a two-screen utility and a multi-role platform are not the same job. You get a fixed figure before work starts. Here is what moves the number.

Do I own the app?

Yes. You own the source code. No platform lock-in, no monthly licence keeping your own app alive, and no rebuild required if you ever take it elsewhere.

Do you build for Android too?

Yes. We lead with iOS because that is usually where the users are, and build Android alongside it when your audience calls for it.

Do you handle App Store submission?

Yes, including the review process. If Apple pushes back, we handle the response rather than sending you the rejection notice. These are the rejections that actually come up.

I only have an idea, not a spec.

That is what scoping is for. Bring the problem and we will work out what version one should be, and what can wait.

Tell us what you're building.

An idea, a rough spec, or a problem you have not worked out how to solve yet. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
